Seefeld Boatworks

Wooden boats are the whole focus at Seefeld Boatworks in Suttons Bay, a specialized shop for restoration and repair in northwest Michigan using traditional ship carpentry methods, on boats from schooners and motor yachts to row boats. Services range from structural carpentry, custom interiors and spar work to classic finishing, reefing and caulking. A marine valet service covers yearly maintenance, spring rigging and launching, and de-rigging, winterizing and winter storage. Larger projects begin with an in-person survey and a restoration plan. The shop is reached at (231) 492 0399 or by email, and it also offers plans and pricing for restoration. Smaller projects get a quote after the boat is seen, and onsite services are noted.
